The idea for Touch of Wood sparked when Braden Heppell was at his university library and continually saw silver laptops that all looked the same. He loved the idea of wooden accessories and set out to bring natural wood back into everyday life. With that idea in mind and a background in woodworking he set out to create beautiful wooden accessories that would truly set people apart.
After spending several months prototyping with different manufacturers, he finally found one that was up to standards in quality and environmental sustainability. Each piece is cut with laser precision and hand sanded to ensure extreme quality of each item. Because each product is made with real wood; the grain patterns will slightly change from each product.
In December of 2015, Touch of Wood launched on the international market.
Today, Touch of Wood ships its products worldwide and is excited about bringing beautiful wood back into the lives of people.
